Well, if the cancer doesn’t kill him, the burgers certainly will.

Side note: should you be giving any pet burgers?

MAKE THE FEELS STOP, PLZ.
Sweet, but sad sad story.

Probably not, but if you’re dying of cancer, why the hell not?

Yes but the whole "favorite meal" thing makes it seem like a semi regular occurence.

True. I didn’t catch that.

Could you really say no to that face? P-P-P-P-lease give doggo burger. *Sadeyes*
I’m sure wolves would kill and cook cows if they could figure out how to work a lighter. Everybody loves burgers! Even mediocre at best Burger King burgers.

In this case, no I wouldn’t deny the dog a burger. But if someone I knew said they were giving their dog a burger with no special circumstances, I'd have to have a talk with them.

I don’t think there’s much harm in it. Everything in a burger is safe for dog consumption, and likely to be better quality than what is in dog food. It’s not a super balanced meal, but it’s not any worse for the dog than it would be for a human, and there are plenty of us who eat burgers.
Health aside, dogs at the tail end tend to lose their appetite, so you sometimes need to be giving them increasingly tasty food just to get them to eat anything, and eating a burger is definitely better than not eating anything.

from what ive read (30 seconds on google) as long as its cooked its fine, you just dont want to give them raw ground beef, they also recommend leaving it plain with no salt or seasoning

Eh. It’s probably a higher grade meat, hopefully, and most dog foods are grain filled too.

In moderation, its not really a problem. Dogs love burgers, and there’s really nothing in there they shouldn’t eat.
